“We were in Europe to visit family and to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary (which is pretty close to our 10 year anniversary of being together!). The main reason we decided to specifically spend time in Paris though was to be there for my 30th birthday. Nate surprised me with this amazing photo session as part of my birthday present! It was honestly the most thoughtful gift! We have had a crazy few years leading up to this trip as Nate was diagnosed with cancer a little over a year and a half ago. After chemo and surgeries, he is doing really great and is in remission, but it has really made us cherish every special moment and celebrate a little bit more than we used to. To have professional pictures that mark not only my 30th but also the start of what will hopefully be a less intense chapter of our lives meant a lot to us.
